Key Lime Kiwi Smoothie
Kiwi, fresh lime and pear create this citrusy-sweet green smoothie.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup (60 ml) water
- ½ lime, peeled
- 2 medium (140 g) kiwi, peeled
- 1 large (200 g) pear, halved, seeded
- 2 dates [or 2 tablespoons honey, optional], pitted
- 1 cup (130 g) ice cubes
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Run the Smoothie Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40-50 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
Notes
Try adding 1 cup (30g) of kale or spinach to this smoothie through the lid plug opening while blending for an extra nutrient, color and texture boost.
