Lime Syrup
This simple fresh lime syrup can be used in soda drinks, cocktails, desserts, or even a fruit salad.
Ingredients
- 2 (90 g) limes, peeled
- ΒΌ cup (60 ml) cold water
- 6 Tablespoons (90 ml) agave nectar [or other sweetener]
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Run the Smoothie Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40-50 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
- Optional: Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve for a pulp-free syrup.
Notes
Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
