Easy to use and clean
We've had our Vitamix for two months and we love it! It is as beautiful as it is functional. Very easy to use and just as easy to clean. We make smoothies daily and have made soup, salsa and cake batter as well. This is no ordinary blender!

Update to "Not as good as my 3600"
After watching many YouTube videos, I may not have been using it correctly. I am using it daily now and it is performing perfectly. I am shopping in the produce section of the store now rather than the processed foods sections. The book that came with it is spectacular. I just turned 66 on 4/5 and realized that my health is not as good as it was, so I am going to take the challenge and "eat" things from the Vitamix to get back to where I can live longer and healthy.

a nice addition to the kitchen
my vitamix is used daily to juice and to make smoothies..i had a juicer with all the pulp and excess ..that had to be dumped..and a pain to clean..this is simple and easy to clean. I have yet to experiment with soups and gourmet delights,,a fire in the house?..i am going to run for the vitamix..it has a big container and unfortunately does not fit under the counter.. but..cannot complain.

Purchased through QVC but since this is a Vitamix product felt I should write my review here. I used this approximately 8xs for smoothies following instructions from the manual. During my 9th go I even let my frozen bag of fruits/greens defrost a bit before blending while on variable and #4 it just completely stopped. I finished the remaing blend in my NutriBullet (8 months old). Its very bulky, nice color, terrible plastic, hard to get the lid off, and for the $ a disappointment. I'll be returning this but scared to order another Vitamix.

Still going strong
I brought this model in 2012 from QVC when it was a today special value. I love it and I use it everyday, I make my hubby a smoothie for breakfast every morning. My favorite thing to make is soup, either broccoli cheddar or back potato! My container has gotten a little cloudy from when I make my own powder sugar, but it’s not that big a deal to me. I also use it grind coffee beans. Also makes the best margaritas!

Very disappointed
I received my Vitamix GC in February and am returning it in June - the power is stuck on high. I did my research, comparisons, watched every video imaginable - never saw where this was a problem. I'm hoping this is an isloated case...we'll see once I get the replacement.
