Ponche de Frutas

This fruit punch is traditionally made at Christmas, and can be served warm. We have made a whole fruit version, but for a thinner style, feel free to strain it.

Ingredients

  • 2 Large oranges, peeled
  • 1 lemon, peeled, halved
  • 1 apple, cored and cut into 8 pieces
  • ½ pineapple, peeled, cubed
  • 50 g (¼ cup) sugar
  • 85 g (½ cup) grapes
  • 1 plum, pitted and sliced
  • 240 ml (1 cup) iced black tea
  • 240 ml (1 cup) coconut water
  • 260 g (2 cups) ice cubes

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed, and secure the lid.
  2. Select the dips and spreads setting and start the machine (or select variable 1 and start the machine, quickly moving up to variable 10- blend for 1 minute.) Allow program to run to completion.
  3. Serve over ice and enjoy!
