Hot SoupsThe friction of our blades can make steaming-hot soup in under 10 minutes, right in the container; chilled soups take even less time. Make each blend your own by playing with add-ins like ramen noodles, tortellini, or kefir.
- 6 medium carrots (365 g), quartered
- 1 small onion (70 g), rough chopped
- 1/8 lemon, peeled
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¾ teaspoon curry powder
- Ground black pepper, to taste
- 480 ml vegetable broth
- 120 ml plain soy milk
Blend all ingredients on your machine’s highest speed for about 6 minutes.
Some recipes will have you reserve some meat or veggies to add a chunky texture at the end.
The speed of the blades has created enough friction to heat these raw ingredients.
Tip: Vitamix blenders intensify the flavors of aromatic ingredients (garlic, onion, herbs, and spices). So when you’re experimenting with your own creations, add a teaspoon at a time and taste as you go.
Just blend warm water and a drop of dish soap at your machine's highest speed, and watch it self-clean in 60 seconds or less-no disassembly required.
