Chef's Notes

You can customize the taste of this dairy free milk by adding dates, vanilla extract, salt or all three if you desire. We have tested soaked steel cut, raw steel cut, soaked rolled and raw rolled oats and find the steel cut oats soaked and blended briefly had the least amount of slimeness to the finished product. Seal and refrigerate for up to 5 days. Sediment from the milk will form at the bottom, shake well before use.
