Spring Citrus Smoothie

Fruits and greens make this smoothie a great start to your morning or a tasty afternoon pick-me-up. A full container ensures you have enough to share with others or have plenty for the busy week ahead.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (480 ml) ginger kombucha
  • 1 medium (145 g) honeycrisp apple, quartered
  • 2 small (175 g) oranges, peeled
  • 2 slices (25 g) lime, 1/4" thick
  • 1 ½ cups (140 g) English cucumber, about 1/2 of 1 medium
  • 2 slices (225 g) pineapple, with core
  • 4 cups (100 g) baby spinach, lightly packed
  • 2 cups (300 g) frozen mango chunks

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Run the Smoothie Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40-50 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.

Chef's Notes

  • Ginger kombucha brings a spicy note and more complexity to a smoothie than just adding water. It can be easily switched out for any liquid of your choice.
  • A perfect way to eat the rainbow!
