More aromatic than their white counterparts, black sesame seeds bring a toasty, nutty flavor with a hint of bitterness—perfect for creating a savory-sweet latte that’s anything but ordinary.

Ingredients:
For the Black Sesame Paste:
- 1 cup (150 g) black sesame seeds, toasted
- ¼ cup (60 ml) sesame oil
- ¼ cup (60 ml) honey
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt, optional
For the Black Sesame Latte:
- 3 cups (720 ml) Soy milk
- 3 Tablespoons (50 g) Black sesame paste
For the Honey Matcha Cold Foam:
- ½ cup (120 ml) Cold skim milk
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
- ½ teaspoon Matcha green tea powder
Step 1: Make the Paste
Place Black Sesame Paste ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid. Run the Dips & Spreads Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed and blend for 60 seconds.
Set aside 3 Tablespoons for the latte and refrigerate the rest in a container with a lid.
Step 2: Blend the Soy Milk & Paste
Rinse the container. Place soy milk and Black Sesame Paste into Vitamix Container. Run the Hot Soup Program or or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed and blend for 7 minutes and 30 seconds
Step 3: Honey Matcha Cold Foam
Place skim milk, honey, and matcha into the Aer® Disc container in the order listed and secure the lid. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 15 seconds.
Step 4: Pour & Enjoy!
Pour the Black Sesame Latte into the glasses, leaving an inch of room at the rim of each glass. Carefully spoon or pour the Honey Matcha Cold Foam on top of each latte and garnish with a pinch of black sesame seeds, if desired.
