Chia Water

This nutritious beverage is balanced with the sweetness of dates and the citrus of lime to create a refreshing combination.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (480 ml) cold water
  • 2 Tablespoons (15 g) chia seeds
  • 1 small lime, peeled
  • 6 dates, pitted

Directions

  1. Place chia and water into a sealed container and refrigerate overnight.
  2. Place chia mixture, lime, and dates into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  3. Select Variable 1. Start the blender and increase to its highest speed. Blend for 35 seconds, or until desired consistency is reached. Divide into two glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

This recipe can easily be tripled in the 64-ounce container and kept in a sealed container in the refrigerator for use later.
