Sunshine Smoothie
Carrots and lemon are complimented by sweet oranges to make a healthy juice-style smoothie.
Ingredients
- 3 cups (720 ml) water
- 4 Tablespoon (500 g) medium orange, peeled, halved
- 6 Tablespoon (400 g) carrots
- 2 Tablespoon (20 g) slices lemon, ¼"
- 2 cups (260 g) ice cubes
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed, and quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40-50 seconds.
Chef's Notes
Instead of ice cubes try frozen mango to boost the nutrition and flavor. Maybe try a little fresh ginger or turmeric to give this smoothie a refreshing spice.
