Helado de yogurt de fresa
Las fresas congeladas y el yogurt bajo en grasa pueden transformarse en un delicioso postre. Con esta receta, nunca había sido tan fácil crear combinaciones de frutas congeladas y yogurt de sabores.
- 1 ½ tazas (240 g) de yogurt de vainilla bajo en grasa
- 1 ½ libras (455 g) de fresas congeladas
- Vierta todos los ingredientes en el vaso de la Vitamix en el orden indicado y cierre bien la tapa.
- Seleccione la velocidad 1.
- Encienda la licuadora y aumente poco a poco la velocidad hasta llegar a la máxima.
- Utilice la barra presionadora para dirigir los ingredientes hacia las cuchillas.
- En aproximadamente 30-60 segundos, el sonido del motor cambiará y deben formarse cuatro cúmulos en la mezcla.
- Detenga la licuadora. No mezcle de más o se derretirá. Sirva de inmediato.

Just to spice it up a bit I added some maraschino cherries (right out of the jar) and some frozen blueberries and it was DELICIOUS! My husband who doesn't really care for frozen yogurt is currently scraping the bowl. THANKS FOR SHARING THIS RECIPE!

Having said that, I wish a bit more effort would be put into making sure the weights are accurate (they are not in this recipe). I also noticed a different recipe is given for the 32 oz container vs the 48 oz and 64 oz classic, which would make one assume that the smaller recipe provided for the 32 oz wouldn't work in the 48 oz or 64 oz classic. Is this a correct assumption, or since those containers all have a narrower base, would the smaller recipe work in all of them?

My strawberries were a little tart so i added a couple table spoon of granulated raw sugar and some vanilla extract, cause to me vanilla is to desert what garlic is to cooking, you can never put too much. ;) Texture is silky smooth, color remain very vibrant. This is a good base for frozen fruity treats.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Ameliamom from Not what I expected This recipe was not as easy as described. We put the yogurt in first as directed and then the berries. The motor seemed to have a very hard time blending the berries as they were frozen. This was our first use of our vitamix. We finally got out the tamper and played with that and kept mixing and mixing, but were never able to get up to the highest speed before it seemed done. It was a lot of effort. Definitely needs sweetener.
