Mango Basil Freeze
Sweet mango pairs with an herbaceous finish in this fruity treat.
Ingredients
- 360 ml (1 ½ cups) almond yogurt [or yogurt of choice]
- 7 g (9 ) fresh basil leaves
- 30 g (3 ) dates [or 1.5 Tablespoons honey], pitted
- (1 teaspoon) lime zest
- 680 g (1 ½ pounds) frozen mango chunks
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Select the Frozen Dessert program. Start the blender and allow the program to complete, using the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades.
- In about 30-60 seconds, the sound of the motor will change and four mounds should form. Stop the machine. Do not over mix or melting will occur. Serve immediately.

- Tablespoon (½ teaspoon) lime zest
- 454 g (1 pound) frozen mango chunks

- Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 50 seconds, using the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades.
- In about 30-60 seconds, the sound of the motor will change and four mounds should form. Stop the machine. Do not over mix or melting will occur. Serve immediately.
