08.07.2021

CLEVELAND - Vitamix announces Steven C. Laserson as its first-ever chief commercial officer. In this newly created position, Laserson will provide the leadership to drive business growth and increase market share for Vitamix. He’ll oversee the successful integrated process of bringing product innovations to market and ensure all aspects of marketing, brand, sales, product management and engineering are working together to propel the overall Vitamix strategy and deliver on company goals.

“For almost 100 years, Vitamix has enhanced people’s lives by helping them change the way they eat,” said Dr. Jodi Berg, president and CEO, Vitamix. “With this new CCO position, it was critical to find a driven, experienced professional who would have the vision and talent to take Vitamix into the next century. We believe Steve is that person.”

Laserson comes to Vitamix from American Greetings Corporation, the Cleveland-based designer, manufacturer and retail service provider of digital and physical social expression products for consumers and retailers. There, he held multiple commercial leadership roles over 24 years, impacting the company’s position both in the U.S. and abroad, most recently as senior vice president of sales. Laserson also held positions in business intelligence, product innovation, product management, and marketing for American Greetings. Prior to that, he was a manager of new product market development at PepsiCo.

“Through Steve’s dynamic career, he has shown great leadership, creativity and the ability to generate significant influence and market share for brands that are beloved by consumers,” said Berg. “Perhaps more importantly, Steve’s professional and community contributions are in line with the core values of Vitamix: family, customers, quality, integrity, and teamwork. There is no doubt that Steve will add tremendous value to an already strong Vitamix brand.”

“I am thrilled to be joining Jodi and her team at Vitamix, and I’m humbled by the opportunity to help build upon the legacy of their family owned, purpose-driven company. The Vitamix brand has become synonymous with quality, reliability, integrity and making healthy eating easy for its consumers,” added Laserson. “These powerful brand assets provide tremendous foundation for growth.”

Laserson, a Cleveland native, has served as a board member for the Jewish Education Center of Cleveland and Green Road Synagogue and on the marketing committee for the Jewish Community Federation.

Laserson joins Vitamix Monday, April 20.
