Green Tea Smoothie

An invigorating blend of green tea, honey, mango, and ginger to jumpstart your day.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups (720 ml) green tea
  • 1 piece (15 g) fresh ginger root, ¾" slice, peeled
  • 2 (450 g) mango, peeled, seeded
  • 2 dates or 2 teaspoons honey, optional
  • 2 cups (260 g) ice cubes

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed.
  3. Blend for 40 to 45 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.

  • ½ cup (120 ml) green tea, brewed, cooled

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix containe in the order listed and secure the blade.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed.
  3. Blend for 25 to 30 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
