Spiced Carrot Cake Smoothie
This healthy, whole-food smoothie with carrots, cinnamon, spices, and almond yogurt tastes like carrot cake in a glass!
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups (360 ml) oat milk
- 2 (225 g) carrots, ends trimmed
- ½ (75 g) apple, seeded
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ cup (35 g) golden raisins
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ⅛ teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 (320 g) frozen bananas
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Run the Smoothie Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40 – 50 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
