Frozen Kombucha Berry Smoothie

Similar to our popular triple berry smoothie, this drink offers the added kick of kombucha for an invigorating way to start your day or an easy-to-make afternoon smoothie.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 ml) kombucha, your favorite brand and flavor
  • 1 cup (240 ml) almond yogurt
  • 1 cup (150 g) red grapes
  • 1 cup (150 g) frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup (160 g) frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup (140 g) frozen raspberries

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed.
  3. Blend for 60 seconds, using the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades, or select the Smoothie Program and allow the machine to complete the programmed cycle.

  • Freeze the yogurt into yogurt cubes and package all of these ingredients into a freezer-safe storage bag for an easy to put together smoothie in the morning. You may need a little more kombucha if everything is frozen. Kombucha is a fermented food that can help promote good gut health. What a great way to start the day.
