Pear Spinach Lime Smoothie

Our version of a fall favorite that utilizes ripe pears and spinach to please your palate.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) Hazelnut Milk
  • 1 large (270 g) pear, quartered, seeded
  • 2 cups (60 g) baby spinach
  • 1 slice lime, 1/8" thick, with rind
  • 1 slice lime, 1/8" thick, with rind
  • 1 cup (130 g) frozen mango chunks

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 45 seconds to 1 minute or until desired consistency is reached.

  • Iron is better absorbed in the body when combined with vitamin C, making the pairing of spinach with lime and mango the perfect nutrient dense and tasty combination!
  • This recipe can be doubled if blending in the 64 oz. (2L) container.
