Turkey Burger [Food Processor Attachment]

A simple turkey burger recipe that can be grilled or seared.

  • 2 (725 g) turkey breast, cut into large chunks
  • ½ small (85 g) yellow onion, peeled, halved
  • ⅓ cup (80 ) Homemade Mayonnaise, ml
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) ketchup
  • ⅓ cup (30 g) chickpea crumbs [or breadcrumbs]
  • 3 Tablespoons (15 ) Turkey Burger Seasoning, g

  1. Place all ingredients into the Food Processor Work Bowl fitted with the Multi-Use Blade. Pulse 10-12 times to incorporate everything together.
  2. Let meat mixture rest for 15 minutes. This allows time for the chickpea or bread crumbs to soak up some moisture so the mixture is easier to work with and form into patties.
  3. Once 15 minutes has passed, working with slightly oiled hands, form the turkey burgers into 6 oz. (170g) patties. Cook thoroughly.

Chef's Notes

  • These burgers are best cooked in a hot cast iron skillet, but will do just fine on a grill as well. Assemble with your favorite burger toppings.
