There will always be some texture when whipping with the Aer Disc container.
FAQ - Aer Disc Container
What is the best speed to use when muddling?
It will vary with the recipe, typically a lower speed is best.
What if something gets stuck under the disk?
Gently use a spoon or a fork to dislodge and remove the object. Be sure not to do this while on the base of the machine.
I didn’t follow the recipe when making the dressing, I added the oil with the other ingredients and blended it all at once. My dressing is “broken”, how can I fix it?
Remove the dressing from the container. Add some hot water to the container (cover the disk) and put the lid on. Start the machine (with container and hot water), then drizzle the dressing through the lid plug, this will allow the ingredients to emulsify.
Do I have to use skim milk when making foam?
Yes, skim milk is needed to make cold and hot foam. The foaming process works as a result of the amount of fat, protein and sugar in skim milk. The culinary team has tested various types of milks including alternative milks.
What temperature does the skim milk need to be to make foam?
Cold foam 35-40℉, hot foam 145-185℉.
How much volume will occur when I foam the skim milk?
Cold foam approximately three times the volume, hot foam approximately two times the volume.
Is the Aer Disc container compatible with all Vitamix machines?
Yes, with the exception of the space saving models.
