Papaya Vanilla Smoothie

This tasty smoothie is packed with tropical flavors, and the added protein will help keep snack cravings at bay until your next meal.

Papaya Vanilla Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 40 g (1/4 cups) papaya, peeled, seeded
  • 50 g (½ Tablespoon) small banana, peeled
  • 80 g (1 slice) pineapple, peeled, halved about 1/2 inch thick
  • 30 g (1 cup) fresh spinach
  • Tablespoon (1 Tablespoon) protein powder, or almonds or cashews
  • 130 g (1 cup) ice cubes

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed, using the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades.
  3. Blend for 45 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
