Sichuan Chili Sauce
You can easily prepare this restaurant-quality Sichuan chili sauce at home in just a short amount of time

Ingredients
- 160 ml (⅔ cup) rice wine vinegar
- Tablespoon (2 Tablespoons) sweet soy sauce
- Tablespoon (¼ cup) vegetable oil
- 45 ml (2 Tablespoons) soy sauce
- 30 ml (2 Tablespoons) sesame oil
- 100 g (1 cup) hot pepper powder
- 160 ml (⅔ cup) tomato sauce
- Tablespoon (½ teaspoon) kosher salt, optional
- 20 g (2 pieces) fresh ginger root, ¼ inch thick
- 30 g (6 ) roasted garlic
- 120 ml (½ cup) hot water
