Ginger Greens Juice [Immersion Blender]

A delicate mix of cucumber, celery, apples and kale will give you a little extra pickup that will keep you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces (8 g) fresh ginger root, 1/8" slices, washed well
  • 1 ½ cups (35 g) kale
  • 1 small (100 g) apple, quartered, seeded
  • ½ (45 g) celery stalk
  • ½ (150 g) cucumber
  • 1 cup (240 ml) water

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into an appropriately sized container. Submerge the immersion blender below the surface of the liquid, or as close to the ingredients as possible.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Move the immersion blender around, including up and down, to blend the ingredients for approximately 2 minutes or until desired consistency is achieved.

Chef's Notes

  • You may strain this juice if desired, but in order to receive the full benefit of the fiber and nutrients, drink as is. Blend this in a larger container than usual to make this simple green whole food juice.
