Dried pequin chiles give this sauce its heat, which is rounded out with tomato sauce, brown sugar, garlic and cumin.

Roasted Cauliflower Slider with Buffalo Hot Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (480 ml) water
  • 2 cups (480 ml) tomato sauce
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 dates pitted
  • 3 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • ½ cup (20 g) dried pequin chilies

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed, using the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades. Blend for 1 minute.
