Vegan Parmesan Cheese (Immersion Chopper) [Immersion Blender]

An easy-to-make parmesan cheese substitute that won't have you missing the real thing. Great for pizza, salads, or sprinkled on veggies for a simple snack.


  • 1 cup (140 g) roasted or raw cashews
  • ½ cup (70 g) hemp seeds
  • 3 Tablespoons (16 g) nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt, optional


  1. Place the ingredients into the work bowl fitted with the chopping blade. Snap the lid into place and secure the immersion motor to the lid. 
  2. Select Variable 5 and run continuously for 10-15 seconds or until desired consistency is reached. Be careful not to over-process or you may create a nut butter.
  3. Pour into an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to use.
