Zero Proof Lemongrass Jasmine Iced Tea

Combine some pretty unique ingredients into a zero-proof cocktail that will wow your guests. Using the Vitamix we'll blend down tough lemongrass, lime, ginger to create a base for this delicious Dry-juary mocktail.

Lemongrass Jasmine Iced Tea

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups (360 ml) jasmine green tea, brewed, chilled
  • 1 stalk lemon grass, 3" (7cm)
  • 1 piece (5 g) fresh ginger root
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) honey
  • 1 lime, peeled
  • 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) rice vinegar
  • 2 cups (260 g) ice cubes
  • ½ cup (120 ml) club soda

Directions

  1. Place ingredients, except the club soda, in the container in the order listed and secure the lid. Start the blender on its lowest speed and quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 45 seconds. Strain.
  2. Fill 2–16oz highball glasses ¾ the way with ice. Split the jasmine tea mixture between the two glasses filling ¾ the way full. Top with 2oz club soda per glass and gently stir to incorporate. Garnish accordingly and enjoy.
