Bell Pepper Margarita

Sweet meets savory in this simple and refreshing variation of a classic margarita on the rocks.

Bell Pepper Margarita

Ingredients

  • 180 ml (6 fl.oz) tequila
  • 60 ml (2 fl.oz) orange liqueur
  • 60 ml (2 fl.oz) agave nectar
  • 120 g (2 ) limes, sliced thin (1/2 inch), ends discarded
  • 120 g (⅔ cup) roasted red pepper, sliced
  • 250 g (2 cups) ice cubes, plus more for serving

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Aer® Disc container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Run the Muddle Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
  3. Prepare two margarita or cocktail glasses by filling them with ice.Using a mesh sieve, strain the margarita into the glasses and enjoy!

Chef's Notes

  • Garnish with a lime slice or fresh slice of red bell pepper.
  • Try rimming your glasses with salt or our Chile-Lime Seasoning before adding ice!
