Gin Rocket

Go green with this stimulating version of a classic Gimlet by muddling fresh arugula and fennel fronds.

Gin Rocket

Ingredients

  • 180 ml (6 fl.oz) gin
  • 90 ml (3 ounces) simple syrup
  • 130 g (2 ) lime, sliced thin (1/2 inch), ends discarded
  • 20 g (1 cup) baby arugula
  • 15 g (¼ cup) fennel fronds
  • 250 g (2 cups) ice cubes

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Aer® Disc container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Run the Muddle Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
  3. Prepare two cocktail glasses—coupe glasses work great.Using a mesh sieve, strain the cocktail into the glasses, and enjoy!

Chef's Notes

  • Garnish with fresh fennel fronds. This cocktail pairs beautifully with light pasta and fresh seafood.
