Gold Medal Smoothie
Keeping you energized and alert throughout the day, the Gold Medal Smoothie lives up to its name.
- 120 ml (1 cup) water
- 125 g (1 ) medium banana, peeled
- 30 g (1/2 cups) cantaloupe chunks
- 30 g (1/2 ) small carrots
- 40 g (1/4 ) medium orange, peeled
- ¼ lemon, peeled
- ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 75 g (1 Slice) pineapple
- 2 dates, pitted, or 1 Tablespoon Honey
- 260 g (2 cups) ice cubes
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed.
- Blend for 1 minute or until desired consistency is reached, using the tamper to press the ingredients toward the blades. Serve immediately.
One scoop of chocolate protein powder is a tasty addition to this recipe.
