Spring Sangria

Switch up your traditional red sangria with this sweet delicious white sangria.

Spring Sangria

Ingredients

  • For the Puree:
  • 250 g (2 ) peaches
  • 454 g (1 pound) strawberries, hulled
  • For the Sangria:
  • 1.5 l (6 cups) chardonnay
  • 60 ml (¼ cup) elderflower cordial

Directions

  1. For the Puree: Place all peaches and strawberries into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Run the Dips & Spreads Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 60 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
  3. Pour the puree into a pitcher and then add the white wine and elderflower liquor. Chill in the refrigerator until service. Pour over ice and garnish with mint fresh peach, and strawberry slices.

  • Mix and match your fruit for this beverage, in season fruits can add the perfect sweetness.For a non-alcoholic treat use lemon soda water for the chardonnay and a little chamomile tea for the elderflower.
