Strawberry Gin Slushy

Vitamix is your go-to for cocktails, and the refreshing combination of strawberries and orange make this recipe a perfect summer treat.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml (¼ cup) gin
  • 30 ml (2 Tablespoons) orange liquer
  • 450 g (3 cups) strawberries, hulled

Directions

1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
2. Blend for 1 minute 30 seconds, using the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades.
3. Pour into slushy pouches, seal shut, and place into freezer until desired use. For serving, pull and allow to thaw at room temperature for approximately 30 minutes before enjoying.

Chef's Notes

For another variation on this summer drink, try replacing the strawberries with watermelon, and the liqueur and gin for 1/3 cup (80ml) vodka, and add a few fresh basil or mint leaves.
