Tea Vodka Spritz
A refreshing, customizable cocktail with tea-infused simple syrup

Ingredients
- Tea Simple Syrup:
- 120 ml (½ cup) water
- 100 g (½ cup) granulated sugar
- 2 g (½ teaspoon) 1 teabag hibiscus tea [or your favorite tea]
- Vodka Spritz:
- 90 ml (3 fl.oz) Tea Simple Syrup
- 90 ml (3 fl.oz) vodka
- 15 ml (½ fl.oz) fresh lime juice
- 450 g (2 cups) ice cubes
- 120 ml (4 fl.oz) prosecco or other sparkling wine
Directions
- For the Tea Simple Syrup:Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium high heat. Bring to a boil, let cook for 1 minute. Take the pan off heat. Add the tea bag to the simple syrup and steep for 5 minutes. Remove and discard the tea bag. Cool the simple syrup completely before using in cocktails.
- For the Vodka Spritz:Place 3 fl. oz. tea simple syrup, vodka, lime juice, and ice into the Aer® Disc container in the order listed and secure the lid. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 15 seconds. Fill 2 cocktail glasses with ice. Strain the drink into the glasses. Top each with 2 fl. oz. of prosecco and serve.
- For a Mocktail:Replace the vodka with your favorite fruit juice, and follow the above instructions. Top with your favorite soda water and enjoy!
Chef's Notes
- Get creative with tea flavors and garnishes! Each tea will lend a different flavor and color to this cocktail. We like using floral teas, like hibiscus or rosehip, for a bright color with a refreshing taste. Try garnishing with lime peel or edible blooms!
