Chia Water

This nutritious beverage is balanced with the sweetness of dates and the citrus of lime to create a refreshing combination.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups (1.4 l) water
  • 6 Tablespoons (30 g) chia seeds
  • 3 limes peeled
  • 16 (240 g) deglet noor dates, pitted

Directions

  1. Place chia and water into a sealed container and refrigerate overnight.
  2. With a peeler or paring knife, remove the peel and white pith from the lime, leaving just the flesh. Place chia mixture, lime, and dates into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  3. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 45 seconds, or until desired consistency is reached. Serve immediately or refrigerate in an air tight container for later use.
