Chia Water

This nutritious beverage balances the sweetness of dates with the tartness of lime to create a refreshing combination.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups (1.4 l) cold water
  • 6 Tablespoons (30 g) chia seed
  • 3 limes, peeled
  • 16 (240 g) dates, pitted

Directions

  1. Place chia and water into a sealed container and refrigerate overnight.
  2. Place chia mixture, lime, and dates into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  3. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 45 seconds, or until desired consistency is reached. Serve immediately or refrigerate in an air tight container for later use.
