Sunshine Smoothie
Carrots and lemon are complimented by sweet oranges to make a healthy juice-style smoothie.
Ingredients
- 720 ml (3 cups) water
- 500 g (4 Tablespoon) medium orange, peeled, halved
- 400 g (6 Tablespoon) carrots
- 20 g (2 Tablespoon) slices lemon, ¼"
- 260 g (2 cups) ice cubes
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed, and quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40-50 seconds.
Chef's Notes
Instead of ice cubes try frozen mango to boost the nutrition and flavor. Maybe try a little fresh ginger or turmeric to give this smoothie a refreshing spice.

- 10 g (1 slice) lemon, 1/4"
- 130 g (1 cup) ice cubes
