Mint Julep

This classic Southern cocktail is perfect for parties (and horse races)!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 ml) bourbon
  • ⅓ cup (80 ml) simple syrup
  • 20 fresh mint leaves
  • 4 cups (520 g) ice cubes

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Aer™ Disc container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 15 seconds.
  3. Pour evenly into 4 glasses and top with more ice if desired, garnishing with additional mint sprigs

Chef's Notes

This drink is strong; if you prefer a lighter version, use more simple syrup or add 1/4 cup additional cold water.
