CLEVELAND – Vitamix®, the brand chosen by leading chefs worldwide, increases it product selection at Hudson’s Bay with the introduction of the Professional Series™ 200™ and Professional Series™ 300® in select locations. Offering the ultimate blending experience, the Vitamix Professional Series machines provide the opportunity to grow your family’s menu and achieve healthy, flavourful, gourmet results with the speed and precision of a professional chef.

“Vitamix is pleased to expand our high-performance blender offerings at Hudson’s Bay,” said Karen Haefling, vice president of marketing, Vitamix. “Professional Series machines are engineered to give the at-home chef the same power and performance trusted by professional chefs and culinary schools. These machines can take a permanent place on the countertop of any well-appointed kitchen.”

The Professional Series 200 and Professional Series 300 feature a powerful ≈2 peak output horsepower motor that masters even the toughest of blends. The full Variable Speed Control provides ultimate precision, allowing the home chef to create at their culinary best. Speed variables go from 0-to-10 in one easy turn of the dial. A Pulse feature allows for drinks to be refreshed and a variety of textures created to exact consistencies.

Powerful and versatile, Professional Series machines offer quieter blending, resulting from enhanced airflow management, similar to Vitamix’s commercial blenders, dramatically reducing noise of the blend by half. This feature also improves motor cooling for longer, more robust blending of even the toughest ingredients.

Professional Series machines feature a shatterproof, compact 2.0-litre, BPA-free Eastman Tritan® copolyester container with a steel blade and wider base for faster, finer blending and an improved spout to provide a quicker, easier pour.

The Professional Series 200 is available in an onyx finish and includes the Create recipe book, with more than 300 delicious and easy-to-prepare recipes. The machine also comes with a one-hour instructional DVD, hosted by celebrity chef Michael Symon, which includes 16 bonus recipes. It has a suggested Canadian retail price of $529.

The Professional Series 300 is available in ruby and onyx finishes. Its compact design and lower height fits under most kitchen cabinets, giving home chefs more reason to keep the blender proudly displayed and more readily accessible. It has a suggested Canadian retail price of $609 and includes an instructional DVD featuring Chef Michael Voltaggio and a hardbound cookbook with more than 200 recipes.

The Professional Series 200 and Professional Series 300 come with a seven-year full warranty and are sold at select Hudson’s Bay locations and online at thebay.com and vitamix.com.
