07.06.2021

CLEVELAND — Vitamix, a world leader in high performance blending equipment for home and commercial use, has been named a Manny Award winner by Inside Business magazine.

The Manny Awards honor Northeast Ohio companies for their innovation and best practices in a variety of industries. A panel of judges including Inside Business magazine editors and area business leaders selected the nine 2014 award winners from a group of prestigious manufacturing leaders located in the Greater Cleveland area.

“Vitamix has grown quickly over a short period of time as our high-performance blending equipment expands in popularity worldwide. In response, we have implemented a lean manufacturing system that enables us to consistently deliver the top-quality products that our customers have come to expect from Vitamix,” said Joe Pullella, Vitamix vice president of operations. “We’re creating a culture where every employee strives to improve every process every day, and we’re honored to be recognized as an industry leader with a Manny Award.”

Since its inception 16 years ago, the Manny Awards program has recognized more than 100 manufacturers from around Northeast Ohio that have excelled in such areas as product development, green initiatives and workplace environment. Past winners of the Manny Award come in all shapes and sizes, but all hold one thing in common ―they are the innovators who reflect the manufacturing strength and future of Northeast Ohio.

Award winners were honored at a banquet held at Corporate College East in Warrensville Heights, Ohio, on May 13, 2014.
