Apple Cider Margarita
Two worlds collide to give us a great cocktail. Apple cider's natural sweetness allows us to use it as a base. Dates play a perfect sweetener and add great color. Blended with extra apple lemon, lime, and fresh cinnamon are a must.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups (360 ml) chilled apple cider
- 1 cup (240 ml) tequila
- 1 medium (150 g) apple, cored and quartered
- 1 lemon, peeled
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 10 (180 g) dates, pitted
- 6 cups (780 g) ice cubes
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
- Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 60 – 90 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
Chef's Notes
- Simple garnish of cinnamon stick and fresh cranberries make this a great holiday cocktail. Rim your glass with cinnamon sugar.

- ½ medium (75 g) apple, cored and halved
- ½ lemon, peeled
- ½ stick cinnamon
- 5 (90 g) dates, pitted
- 3 cups (360 g) ice cubes
