Basic Green Smoothie

A delicious blend of sweet and citrus fruits easily masks the spinach in this green smoothie.

Basic Green Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 medium (120 g) banana, peeled
  • 3 cups (450 g) green grapes
  • 2 medium (260 g) orange, peeled, halved
  • 2 slices (160 g) pineapple, peeled, with core
  • 3 cups (90 g) fresh spinach
  • 1 slice (6 g) lime, 1/4"
  • 2 cups (260 g) ice cubes

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Run the Smoothie Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 40-50 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.

Chef's Notes

If all ingredients don't fit into your container, simply start the blend and drop ingredients through the lid plug opening.
