Chile Lime Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 3 (15 g) guajillo chile peppers
  • 2 (10 g) dried Fresno chile peppers
  • 2 Tablespoons (20 g) crystallized lime
  • 2 Tablespoons (30 g) sea salt

Directions

  1. Place the dried chiles into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Run the Spice Grinding Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then increase to its highest speed. Blend for 25 seconds, or until desired consistency is reached.
  3. Transfer the ground chiles to a small bowl and mix thoroughly with the crystallized lime and sea salt. Use immediately or store in an airtight container at room temperature.
