Chocolate Fondue

This homemade version of a favorite dipping treat is naturally sweetened and full of chocolate flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups (600 ml) cashew milk
  • ⅔ cup (55 g) 100% unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 7 (140 g) pitted medjool dates
  • 6 Tablespoons (55 g) cacao nibs [or chopped bittersweet chocolate]
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Run the Hot Soup Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed.  Blend for 5 minutes 45 seconds.

  • 3 (70 g) pitted medjool dates
  • 3 Tablespoons (30 g) cacao nibs [or chopped bittersweet chocolate]
  • ¾ teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Run the Hot Soup Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its  highest speed.  Blend for 7 minutes 30 seconds.

Ingredients

  • 1¼ cup (300 ml) cashew milk
  • ⅓ cup (27 g) 100% unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3½ Tablespoon (70 g) medjool dates
  • 3 Tablespoons (27 g) cacao nibs, or chopped bittersweet chocolate
  • ¾ teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed.
  3. Blend for 5-6 minutes or until heavy steam escapes from vented lid. Serve immediately.
