Granola [Food Processor Attachment]
A simple, easy to make granola bar recipe that is a delicious treat any time of day.
Ingredients
- 2 cups (300 g) mixed nuts
- ½ cup (120 ml) date syrup
- ¼ cup (60 ml) honey
- ¼ cup (60 ml) maple syrup
- 4 cups (390 g) rolled oats
- ½ cup (80 g) sunflower seeds
- ½ cup (70 g) sesame seeds
- ½ cup (40 g) sweetened shredded coconut
- 2 cups (270 g) dried cranberries, or a mixture of dried fruit
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a half sheet tray with parchment paper. Place racks in middle and top part of oven.
- Place mixed nuts, date syrup, honey, and maple syrup in the Food Processor Work Bowl fitted with the Multi-Use Blade. Pulse 6-8 times or until nuts are uniformly chopped and liquids are mixed.
- In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and the nut/syrup mixture. Incorporate all ingredients thoroughly until oats are evenly coated with the mixture.
- Spread out evenly on parchment lined baking sheet. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown, stirring about every 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool completely. Crumble up and use as desired.
Chef's Notes
- A simple granola with no added oil or other processed sugars. Date syrup, honey and maple syrup can be adjusted to taste.
