Lavender Hibiscus Iced Tea

This lively combination of simple ingredients makes a fun iced tea base. The AER container works perfectly to mix the ingredients without breaking them down, creating a clean infused tea.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups (720 ml) hot water
  • 2 teaspoons dried lavender
  • 1 Tablespoon dry hibiscus tea
  • ½ Tablespoon crystallized ginger
  • 2 teaspoons granulated honey, optional

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Aer® Disc container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Run the Muddle Program or start the blender on its lowest speed, then increase to its highest speed.  Blend for 40 seconds, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.
  3. Strain into two glasses with ice.

Chef's Notes

  • Hydration is so important for long term health and wellness and it doesn't need to be boring. If you're watching your sugar intake, you can always use less honey or leave it out all together. The lavender, hibiscus, and ginger will still captivate your taste buds!
