Oatmeal Smoothie

A healthy breakfast drink with oatmeal and amaranth, sweetened with cinnamon and mango.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups (960 ml) water
  • 3 Tablespoons oatmeal
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons amaranth flour
  • 1 cinnamon stick, or 1/8 teaspoon ground, 1.5"
  • 1 cup (165 g) mango, peeled, diced

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed.
  3. Blend for 30-45 seconds or until desired consistency is reached. Divide between glasses and serve immediately.
