Sichuan Chili Sauce
You can easily prepare this restaurant-quality Sichuan chili sauce at home in just a short amount of time

Ingredients
- ⅔ cup (160 ml) rice wine vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 2 Tablespoons (45 ml) soy sauce
- 2 Tablespoons (30 ml) sesame oil
- 1 cup (100 g) hot pepper powder
- ⅔ cup (160 ml) tomato sauce
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt, optional
- 2 pieces (20 g) fresh ginger root, ¼ inch thick
- 6 (30 g) roasted garlic
- ½ cup (120 ml) hot water
