Strawberry Passion Fruit Smoothie [Immersion Blender]

Passion fruit adds the taste of the islands to this tropical summertime treat.

Strawberry Passion Fruit Smoothie

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup (180 ml) Oat Milk
  • ¾ cup (180 ml) passion fruit juice [or fresh passion fruit]
  • ½ Tablespoon chia seed
  • 2 cups (240 g) frozen strawberries

Directions

  1. Place ingredients in the Vitamix Immersion Blending Jar or appropriately sized container.
  2. Submerge the immersion blender below the surface of the liquid, or as close to the ingredients as possible.
  3. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Move the immersion blender around, including up and down, to blend the ingredients for approximately 60 seconds or until desired consistency is achieved

  • This simple recipe is a nutrient rich crowd pleaser.  Chia seeds are tiny but mighty seeds that are packed with fiber, protein, and healthy fats.  They also provide a satisfying smoothness to this refreshing drink.
