Sunflower Seed Butter

A great allergen-free alternative to a nut butter.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups (410 g) roasted sunflower seeds, hulled

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to its highest speed. Blend for 1 minute 30 seconds, using the tamper to press ingredients toward the blades.

Chef's Notes

  • Unsalted or salted sunflower seeds can be used, so long as they are roasted.
