Fondue expresso et chocolat

Le dessert parfait pour satisfaire vos convives en un tour de main alliant les délicieuses saveurs du chocolat et de l'expresso. Trempez-y des morceaux de gâteau éponge ou de quatre-quarts, des bâtonnets de bretzels, des guimauves ou vos fruits favoris.

Chocolate Espresso Fondue

Ingrédients

  • 1 tasse (240 ml) d'eau
  • 480 ml (2 tasses) de crème épaisse
  • 10 teaspoons instant espresso powder
  • 24 ounces (700 g) semisweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) brandy

Instructions

  1. Place water, cream, espresso powder, and chocolate into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
  2. Start the blender on its lowest speed and increase to its highest speed.  Blend for 3 minutes 30 seconds or until melted and smooth.  Using the tamper if needed.  Pour into fondue pot and stir in brandy.

  • For dippers, try sponge cake, pound cake, sliced apples, sliced pears, marshmallows, strawberries, bananas, fresh or canned pineapple chunks.
