- 6 medium carrots, quartered and steamed
- 1 small onion, rough chopped and steamed
- 1/8 lemon, peeled
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¾ teaspoon curry powder
- Ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- ½ cup plain soy milk
Blend all ingredients on your machine’s highest speed for about 6 minutes.
Some recipes will have you reserve some meat or veggies to add a chunky texture at the end.
The speed of the blades has created enough friction to heat these raw ingredients.
Tip: Vitamix blenders intensify the flavors of aromatic ingredients (garlic, onion, herbs, and spices). So when you’re experimenting with your own creations, add a teaspoon at a time and taste as you go.
