Smoked Chunky Salsa

Use this classic salasa as a flavorful garnish on our black bean masa crepes.



  • 2 Tablespoon (500 g) heirloom tomatoes, smoked and quartered
  • ¼ medium onion, peeled, diced
  • 2 Tablespoon (30 g) jalapeños, seeded, halved
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil, optional
  • salt Tablespoon pepper, to taste


  1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.
  2. Select Variable 5 and turn the machine on and off to pulse 5 or 6 times, or until desired consistency is reached.
